ABOUT OUR SERVICES
|
Sunday 8:00 AM: A contemplative,
spiritually nourishing service that feeds the
mind and soul with Rite I from the 1979 Book of
Common Prayer. Come join your early-rising
brethren for Holy Eucharist and solemnly,
joyfully welcome the Lord's Day.
Sunday 11:00 AM : You will be greeted at the
door by a welcoming parishioner for this Rite II
service that offers an inspiring choir, the
gifted organ playing of Bill Drake, and moving
pageantry in worship of the Lord. Join us for
Holy Eucharist in celebration and gratitude for
the gift of everlasting grace. A nursery is
available for this service.
Thursday 12:05 PM:
Holy Eucharist
and Healing Service, with laying on of hands. A
service particularly meaningful for those in
need of spiritual or physical healing, or who
wish to pray for those who are. Held in the
Chapel (door furthest to the right from the
Church Street rear parking lot).
All baptized
Christians are welcome to receive Communion.
Our custom is to hold out the hands (right one
in the left, palms up) to receive the bread,
then receive the wine by guiding the chalice to
one's lips. To receive a blessing, please
cross your arms.
